We are a Private Billing Practice

 

Our Clinic is a Private Billing Clinic. This enables us to provide the highest level of care to our patients. Our consultations are charged depending on a number of factors including length, the complexities of the problem addressed and the use of specialised materials. Discounted consultation rates are strictly at your Doctors discretion. The AMA fee structure forms the basis of our billing policy and this is displayed in the reception area of our medical centre. Please note our fees are BELOW the AMA recommended consulting fees. See below:

Mental health plan (Medicare item Number 2717)..............................................$185 ($50.90 out-of-pocket)

Mental health plan (Medicare item Number 2715)..............................................$145 ($53.95 out-of-pocket)

Mental health issue consultation(Medicare item Number 2713)...................$115 ($43.30 out-of-pocket)

Excisions, ECGs, Spirometry, minor procedures - Please request fees at time of booking.

 

Nursing Appointments: Nursing appointments are currently Bulk Billed where the G.P. is directing care.

 

We accept payment by cash, EFT, EFTPOS, VISA and Mastercard only.

 

Fees are payable in full at the end of the consultation. If you are experiencing financial difficulties please ask to speak to the Practice Manager to discuss alternate arrangements. It is our policy not to issue accounts.

 

We will request bulk billing on your behalf for the following (where available/applicable).

• X-Rays & Imaging

• Pathology

 

Medicare rebates are available for most medical services and can be refunded to you at the time of consultation by easyclaim after the payment of your account.

DVA Gold cards only.

Discounts patients holding a Medicare card who are under 16 years of age, or persons holding full pension cards.

Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)

 

Our clinic provides service to overseas students holding Allianz Private Insurance, Bupa, Medibank and AHM for the cost of $15 out of pocket.

Overseas Visitor Health Cover (OVHC)

​

The cost of Medical consultation for visitor holding Allianz and Bupa insurances is $40 out of pocket.
